2-day rotationA/B block schedules
The classic two-day rotation: A-days and B-days alternate across school days, skipping weekends. Your Tuesday might be an A-day this week and a B-day next week — so an alarm pinned to “Tuesday” is useless.
In ScheduleLock you build A-day alarms and B-day alarms. It tracks which letter day each date is from your term start date, and fires the right group automatically.
2-day rotationOdd/even day schedules
The same two-day rhythm with different names — odd days run periods 1-3-5-7, even days run 2-4-6-8. Common in schools that label days by period parity instead of letters.
Set up exactly like A/B: two alarm groups, and ScheduleLock knows which one today is.
3- to 8-day rotationsMulti-day rotations (Day 1–Day 8)
Day 1 through Day 6 cycles, letter days A through F, 4-day specials rotations — many schools, especially independent and middle schools, rotate on cycles longer than two days. These are the schedules that make generic alarm apps truly hopeless.
ScheduleLock supports any rotation length from 2 to 8 days. Create one alarm group per rotation day, and it follows the cycle through the whole term.
WeeklyTraditional weekly schedules
No rotation — your Monday is always Monday. Traditional mode pins alarm groups to weekdays, like a normal alarm app, but with everything else ScheduleLock adds.
That means term awareness (no 6:15 alarm during summer break), school-days-only firing, and the same one-tap day-off override.
