ScheduleLock — Privacy Policy

Overview

ScheduleLock is a schedule-aware alarm app. It is designed to work entirely on your device with no internet connection required. The app does not collect, store, or transmit any of your data. Our marketing website (schedulelock.app) uses a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics service to measure aggregate traffic; details are in the "Website Analytics" section below.

Data Collection (App)

The ScheduleLock app does not collect any personal data. Specifically:

• No personal information is collected (name, email, phone number, etc.)
• No usage analytics or telemetry
• No crash reporting
• No advertising identifiers
• No location data
• No cookies or tracking technologies

Network Access (App)

The ScheduleLock app does not use the internet. The app requires no network permissions and makes no network requests of any kind. All data stays on your device.

Local Storage (App)

ScheduleLock stores your schedule configuration, alarm settings, and day overrides locally on your device using an on-device database. This data never leaves your phone and is not accessible to us or any third party.

Permissions (App)

ScheduleLock requests the following Android permissions, all of which operate locally on your device:

• Exact Alarms — to schedule alarms that fire at precise times
• Notifications — to display alarm notifications
• Boot Completed — to reschedule alarms after a device restart
• Foreground Service — to display the alarm screen when an alarm fires

Third-Party Services (App)

The ScheduleLock app does not integrate with any third-party services, SDKs, or APIs.

Website Analytics

This privacy promise covers the app. Our marketing website at schedulelock.app is separate and uses Vercel Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics service, to understand overall site traffic.

Vercel Web Analytics:

• Does not use cookies or store any identifier on your device
• Does not collect personal information
• Does not track you across other websites
• Collects only aggregate, anonymous visit data: pages viewed, the referring site, approximate location at the country level, and general device, operating-system, and browser type

This data is used solely to measure how many people visit the site and which pages are popular. It is not tied to any individual and is never sold. For more detail, see Vercel's Web Analytics privacy documentation.

Children's Privacy

ScheduleLock does not collect data from anyone, including children. The app is intended for use by teachers and students aged 16 and older.

Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised date.
